The Rotary Club of Richmond Foundation was founded in 1984. In 2018, the Society changed its name to ROTARY RICHMOND FOUNDATION.

The purposes of the Society are
(a)To support charitable activities and projects which contribute to the improvement of health, the development of education, and the alleviation of poverty by gifting to qualified donees,

(b) To support charitable activities and projects which respond to emergencies, urgent needs and unique concerns in the community by gifting to qualified donees.
